Forgiveness:

We all hate ourselves for the many mistakes we have made.

Sometimes when we look back on our actions, we wonder if there really is any hope for us.  We ask ourselves ‘will God ever forgive me’?

To answer your own question. consider the example of a woman who was moved to wash the feet of Jesus with her own tears. Read of the account found at Luke 7: 36-50 and see for yourself how Jesus illustrated the principle of ‘he who is forgiven much, loves much.’

King David, was guilty of adultery and murder but found forgiveness. 

Have a read of Psalm 51 and listen to David’s words as to how he repented of his sins.

The first step is to acknowledge our sin and confess to God in prayer (1 John 1:9) for without repentance, no forgiveness is possible, and no person can hope to gain God’s approval – Psalm 86:1-7
